Windows explorer stops working with Random Background change!! in DeskScapes Stardock Forums

Every time the background changes, using Deskscapes, of course, my windows explorer stops working and has to restart! I never had this problem with Windowblinds! The background would change with me never even noticing. So, what gives? Now, I have to try to find a program that will change my backgrounds without any problems..This really sucks! If Deskscapes is part of the OD program, why do I have to pay separately for it? It was on my Impulse Software List, then it disappeared. Now, I'm having to pay $19.95 for it? What's up with this?

Great!! Maybe someone can now tell me how to get Bootskin to work on my computer, instead of crashing it. I've tried all 3 versions to no avail. I have a 2yr old HP pavilion running WIN XP SP2. I really miss being able to change my startup, shutdown and wait screens. Thought Bootskin was the answer, but every time I installed it it would work for 1 or 2 bootups, then I'd get the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH. Can anyone pls help me here, tell me what to d

I'm with you...I tried all versions...crashed my 'puter every time. Finally gave up. BS works on 100% of all systems??? I don't think so. I have a HP paviliona420n with XP Home Edition SP2. Tried BS, all versions, before and after SP2. Still doesn't work. If anyone has any ideas on how to get it to work, pls, pls, let us in on the secret?!
