Same issue here (noted way at top), I happen to be running 3 monitors as well, perhaps we've found the common denominator.

V3.0.9.11 after installing upgrade to 3.0.9 (or maybe it was my change from v2 to v3 as I finally did that recently) my single column sized fences no longer scroll vertically to show icons, they are defaulting to 2 columns.
