I looked everywhere for this option! why is it so buried? It should be included on the page that where you select how you want things to on the taskbar, centered vs left aligned!

I loathe the windows 11 start menu, I really do. But it got one thing very right, especially for large and ultrawide monitors the start menu is always in the center of the screen no matter where the button is located. The settings in Start 11 "Centered" or "Left Aligned" only control the anchor of the start menu and windows/pinned items. The menu always opens where the start icon is located, which honestly is almost vestigial anyway because, I very rarely even click on it, I
