I agree, we need a larger diversity of combat spells for damage. I suggested a couple in another thread, but in general this would allow for a better experience. Furthermore, there should be a spell in the air school to hasten the next 2 cast on cast time spells. It should be rank 4 or 5. Think a mix of haste and focus. Finally, the Haste spell has a highly negative effect on some cast time spells. It causes them to not go off (moves the char

I have seen both issues, and both are indeed annoying. Also, there needs to be a way to cancel movement mid-move. It would really help with the undesired movement pattern sometimes taken (including when a hill in the fog of war causes you to try to move to the far side of said hill.)

You have to do all the sub-quests for the dragon statues, and return to the one that sent you after the eyes of the other two. This will cause the master quest battle sequence to happen. The fight is indeed likely the toughest you will face in a normal game (Unless the AI is set to a really high difficulty, and even then it might be.) It has very good rewards, however... and wins the game if master quest win mode is enabled.

I agree. This was going to be one of the spells I mentioned. It is stupidly overpowered compared to most of the other combat magic. Giant form also needs to be adjusted. It costs too little for a huge benefit... on the other side of things. I had a late game warrior style setup where I had over 180 attack with this spell running. Most of the other magic effects seem to be decently balanced... they can do huge damage with enough shards and evoker levels,

There are some spells in the late game that allow you to spread fertile land growth... 'Bloom of Spring' and 'Bloom of Fall' I think. They are only available under certain conditions. I think it has to do with how you set yourself up (character or nation). It's a nice perk when you do have it, but it's so late in the magic tree that it doesn't help much early on. I had a temporary issue with the flame wave spell similar to what you just described. It remained broken until I exited the game and reloaded the saved game, at which point it returned to working normally. Abeix has had the same issues for me. I'm not sure he's fully implemented yet. I haven't seen the third one yet, however I have noticed that combat is finicky. Sometimes you get a crash right after an attack hits, or a spell goes off.
