I couldn't agree more. Lot's of windows 7 screens with multi-touch, but win7 still looks the same. Android and Ipad tablets are much easier to navigate. However, they have few useful programs--just entertainment type stuff. I need to use things like OneNote, and to be able to print. Simple solution is to change the windows 7 interface. I don't think Stardock needs to do anything to design for multi-touch. It is in the OS and screen.
