If so then cool, though it would have been a good idea to have mentioned that in the first ever email from them so people know who they are.[/quote] This!! Very much this! It's fine that you send me a promotional email. I follow Stardock, and have registered to receive your marketing. But I wo

Since updating to Fallen Enchantress version 0.980.1 [Beta] aka Beta 5, everytime I restart my computer, I get a prompt to download Beta 5 again. When I do so, SDC correctly tells me that I can't update, since the latest version is already installed on my PC. How can I resolve this?
This is great news. Can't believe this had gone under my radar. Looking forward to uninstalling Impulse ;)
Hmm - it seems I inadvertently started a whole new bug reports thread. Truly sorry for that, Neil...was not my intention. As for my problem, it has since corrected itself. I have no idea what was wrong. Asmodean
Yeah - I went to read those forums...these are quotes from their members: - eew, spyware ftl. I wouldn't have that crap installed on my computer anyway. You shouldn't either. First of all a disclaimer: I am not at all sure that the following problem is related to WB - nor do I blame Stardock in any way, should it be. I am aware that this is a beta version, and as such cannot be guaranteed to function 100% in all areas. Then to my problem: Yesterday afternoon, I updated WB to 5.92.090. SDC prompted me to restart my computer, and I did. Upon restarting, Windows Data Execution Prevention (nice name for a service, eh?) closed Windows Explorer. I we
I most certainly support that. In addition to the reasons that you have mentioned, remembering what race has built what wonder on what planet comes to mind. I can imagine situations where I would base my strategy on knowing exactly where a certain wonder is built. A search feature like that would come in very handy, indeed. Asmodean
Yeah - I am having the same problem, but I am using IconX as a workaround. Not the best solution, but acceptable to me.
