Okay, the sfc/ scannow has finished. It replaced all of the files I had modified, (I think). I removed everything associated with stardock and rebooted. I re-installed WindowBlinds and then rebooted. Unfortunately, again, the same problem persists.
I ran sfs/ scannow. It is currently at 26%. How long does this usually take? Will this replace the files that were modified?
Drivers are up to date. And a while back i did use custom style where i had to patch my system and such. My explorer.exe was modified. my explorerframe.dll was also modified. and a few other system files. I also used custopack which was uninstalled.
Did everything stated above. ran cc cleaner multiple times. re-installed with all AV programs and all firewalls disabled. Unfortunately still have the same problems. Any other ideas?
Okay, I will uninstall anything associated with WB. reboot. disable ESET Security, and install again and report back to let you both know how it went. Thanks for the help.
Hello, I recently downloaded the WB trial version. I wanted to see how the program worked and such. I am currently running Genuine Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. After installing and rebooting, the program does not allow me to apply any themes. When I try to apply a theme, a windows pops up and reads "WindowBlinds does not appear to be installed correctly on your machine. Would you like to fix this problem now." When I click "yes" or "no" it attempts to apply the theme but
