Start11 doesn't work at all after last update. Tried rebooting, uninstalling and reinstalling. The service is running as well. Any advice on next steps? Is there a way to completely wipe and re-install?

I would prefer if the start menu only display app shortcuts instead of sometimes confusing executable names.

Is it possible to prevent Start11 showing *.exe files when searching the start menu? For instance, if a user were to type "regedit" I do NOT want the results to show "regedit.exe"

Edit: I found the issue and a workaround. When you pin a UWP app a shortcut named 'App' is created in the folder: C:\Users\ \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\StartMenu If you pin another app, this shortcut gets overwritten. If you manually rename the shortcut and create another you will be able to repeat the steps for as many UWP apps that you need. Please fix this issue in future releases.

I'm not sure what you mean by "tablet mode is NOT the OS tablet mode setting." Has anyone else reported this issue on Surface Pro 3? Yes I do dock to a higher dpi display. Config shows correct color scheme, but Start10 uses the color of the previous logged in user. Full log off/on fixes the issue.

Here are the issues I am having that have not been addressed in several releases: 1. "When in tablet mode" and "When docked" is broken and does not work at all on the Surface Pro 3. 2. When docking/un-docking the scaling of the Start Menu does not change with the rest of the UI. If it was docked first, then un-docked, the Start Menu is tiny. Shouldn't Start10 simply query Windows to check if the 'Tablet Mode' setting is on or off? Does it need drivers? Note, I've also tested this on other systems and it immediately assumes the system is in tablet mode. It has nothing to do with 'suitable drivers.' Can you please investigate for a later update? I am using the Surface Pro 3.

Under the 'Control' setting, selecting "Start button shows Start10 unless in tablet mode" does not work. When selecting this option, the Windows 10 menu always appears - even in desktop mode. Could you please fix in a later version? Many thanks!

Hi, As a former Start8 user it only took me a few weeks with Win10 before I realized I needed my start menu back. I have a few requests that I hope can be addressed in a future release: 1. Is it possible to disable searching files and folders from the Start 8 menu? I prefer to only search programs and control panel apps. I realize this is probably an os "feature", but it was certainly possible with vanilla Win7. If not, could you please consider it for a future update? Thanks for the great product! I just realized, that this may be a shortcut that was created by Start8 which I installed at the same time. I'll try that forum as well.
