It's THREE times the value of 1. 3 should be the equivalent of 1, but different. There's a lot of things we can do to make this happen, but here's my suggestion: 1. Take a sledge hammer and smash 3 into pieces. 2. Gather the pieces and melt it down for m
The non-Impulse versions are said to run well on Windows 7 64 bit, and the re-released versions seem to have been overhauled to improve compatibility with new versions of Windows (they have a directory for .Net binaries that did not exist before).
If you're using Impulse because of customer loyalty or you just want to contribute something to Stardock, I have no problem with that. That's your choice. But don't tell me it's DRM free, because it isn't. They are Managing the Rights of Digital software using their own client. Whether that happens constantly or one time doesn't change that fact. I'm a 1s and 0s kind of person, I see things in shades of true or fal
They must have raised it, it was 1000 when in 1.07 (or was it 1.06?). I have not played long enough since 1.08 to find out.
If you want larger scale battles, consider (likely in an expansion) allowing groups in adjacent tiles to be in the battle.
That is one of my attempts at map editing for AoW:SM for a swampy region. I am nowhere near as good as some other people, but it would be nice to have diverse terrain like this.
You are forgetting that you start at level one, so it is level 2 at 25, level 3 at 100, level 4 at 400, and level 5 at 1,250 for Kingdom, and I believe Empire is level 4 at 500 and then not sure about level 5 for Empire. This is off memory so maybe Kingdom and Empire are the same at level 4 and I'm just misremembering.
Level 5 for Empire is 1000.
Iit may already be on GOG, I know AoW 1 wasd put there prior to its stunt of shutting down.
To bad this was not out in time for people that get the game through Impulse could join the AoW:SM 1 v 1 PBEM tourneyment at Age of Wonders II Heaven.
Simultaneous turns are way too important to sacrifice for something like hotseat, in my opinion. I used to HATE trying to play heroes of might and magic and ragequitting after 20 minutes because 10 of those were spent waiting.
Which is the great thing about PBEM, you can go play another game while waiting for them to take their turn.
No, we will not be supporting PBEM or hotseat as they're not compatible with simultaneous turns.
Out of curiousity, how much trouble would it be to add non-simultaneous turns for non-online games? (As a note it does not matter right now that turns are simultaneous right now ast the AI makes all its moves at once, leaving only the player to move things)
The enemy does not build up.
They need to make buildings you do not meet the prerequisites for not function and/or allow of "equivalant buildings" to be defined and it will switch over to one you can build (this is only for things like houses and other normal buildings).
I heard of someone doing it and their sovereign ceased to be a channeller, so do not do it.

It does not vanish if a monster kills the Caravan, so I would not think disbanding does either.
For modding, it needs to be possible to specify for prereqesites if the condition should be true or false for the whatever it is being added to to be availible (e.g. making a standard structure unavailible to a custom race with Kingdom Allegiance).
I have never tried, but I think you may have to select them and disband them, then make a new one.
Do you have a save game or something that demonstrates this? Also, hexes don't like up to the cardinal directions, which makes my brain uncomfortable.
They line up with two of the cardinal direction, unless the view angle is screwy. To some extent, hexes are less suited to games that do not have a fixed view; otherwise you would be unable to use a rhombus shaped city wall to give the illusion of being square.<
