But there is no way I'd base my choice of operating systems on the compatibility of a Stardock product. I'm not a "Stardockian" but I can NOT stand looking at flat window dressings all day long.
I can understand that with Win10 being a glacial continuous upgrade that this might now pose new issues.
Which was exactly the point I made several days ago when a frequent poster here mentioned that an update to Windows 10 had been released:
Quoting Jafo, <a href="/470
It's a simple solution really -- set the compatibility properties of the installer to Windows 8. Install but do not run. Install ObjectDock, create your docks and use the settings to turn off the taskbar. Run WindowBlinds and pick a theme. Optional: install Rainmeter for awesome widgets (aka skins). Then you too can have a desktop like this on Windows 10
I've had the exact same thing happen though I don't recall which program. I suspect it's very easy to replicate with any menu that has a submenu that has a long list of items like that.
SR1 has been released as well so the OS STILL is not final.
I hate to break it to you (and I'm surprised that this is news to you) but the OS will never be final. That's pretty much MS's new business plan. If we're all waiting for the developers to release WindowBlinds for Windows 10 because the OS isn't final yet, then we're all in for a very long wait.
I was able to get it to install on Windows 10 by setting the install file's Compatibility to Windows 8. It works but the taskbar will be wonky. Other than that, it appeared to work okay (very limited testing however).
Windowblinds 8.04 has been released, hopefully it fixes the issue. So far so good for me! (v1.41.1 for Start8 has been released as well)
oops, dupe!

Re: running indicator choices. Yeah, the tiny black triangle on a mostly dark background isn't doing it for me either ;)
You don't have it because you didn't manually add the docklet code to the docklet folder in your ObjectDock installation folder :) Therefore, no problem! ;)

I did not uninstall OD+1.9 so mine are still under C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Bundled Images -- simply copy and paste at that point.
