I had to add several exclusions using Per Application, but notice that there is no way to edit the settings once created; only delete or add another one. There are a number of options with exclusions and it would be great to try the granular settings before going to the exclude completely choice. I updated ODM from 4.0 to 4.01 two days ago and it has not opened on the desktop by itself and it has not re-created the start menu folder and icon at each boot/login.
I have never had Stardock Central installed. I am not finding any indications that Object Desktop is re-installing.
At the same time that Object Desktop started opening every time I booted up my system (See thread https://forums.stardock.com/497789/object-desktop-manager-starts-on-its-own-annoying) , it also started re-creating the Stardock folder and Object Desktop icon(s) every time I boot up. This is really annoying, too. I use Start10 so that I can maintain my start menu organized
