According to a recent article in PC World, the next release of Windows 11, 24H2, will prevent third-party apps from customizing the taskbar or Start Menu. They cited StartAllBack as an example. So I'm wondering if Start11 will be dead on Windows 11 once that version of Windows 11 is released.
File Explorer also crashed once or twice. But I started to run WindowFX and its service under Windows 8 compatibility mode. And that seems to have eliminated all these glitches. Under Windows 8 compatibility mode, WindowFX has been rock-solid for the past 11 hours or so. So I guess that fixed it.
I installed WindowFX 6.04 on Windows 10 version 1803. Ever since I installed WindowFX, all Windows Explorer windows always stayed underneath any application windows (such as Edge, Firefox, Thunderbird) in the stacking order. That is, I could not make an Explorer window overlap an application window. To get Explorer windows to go on top of application windows again, I was forced to uninstall WindowFX altogether (which is a shame because I paid for it). Is there some set
