This is an interesting idea. Thanks for your suggestion!

I have suggested native pixel size for system tray icons to the developer. This doesn't necessarily mean that the functionality will change, but it is now on the table. Thanks for your input, guys.
The current version of Fences is 1.01. Version history is available through Impulse by right-clicking on the Fences entry and selecting "View History".
Impulse is required to download updates for Fences. You can download the entire updated installer as a standalone for the free version of Fences here: http://download.cnet.com/Fences/3000-2072_4-10909535.html
I spoke with Jeff, and he was able to reproduce and resolve the problem. The fix will be available in a future update to ObjectDock.
There is currently no way to set this separately.
I was able to confirm this, thanks. I will bring this to Jeff's attention.
There is a standalone installer for ObjectDock v2. Login to the following site and click the #2 link for the appropriate application: https://forums.stardock.com/account/regs
Ah, yes, I see that you said that you had a high number of tabbed docks. Sorry. The backend for ObjectDock hasn't changed significantly enough for you to notice a big difference in loading times.
You can purchase Elemental from Stardock and have a retail box shipped to you, in addition to having access to the Impulse download: https://www.elementalgame.com/purchase
Try closing Impulse and running the following file: http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/fix_registrations.reg Make sure to follow the link in Internet Explorer, as other web browsers will not handle the file type correctly. Once you follow the link, save the file and double click it to apply it. Then relaunch Im
The first two no longer have UI controls for this. Backups can be done by doing the following, then saving the contents (usually by zipping and storing elsewhere): http://screencast.com/t/bmMb223Bys
ObjectDock v1 and v2 share the same settings folder, so your settings will automatically be imported. You can try the free version of ObjectDock v2 here: http://download.cnet.com/ObjectDock/3000-2072_4-10210264.html?tag=mncol;1
Can you PM me the message you received?
Thanks for your bug report. I was able to reproduce this on my machine. I will let the developer know about the issue.
Under the "Background Settings" for each monitor, do you have stretch or fill selected? If not one of those, the image won't scale properly to fit to the separate resolutions.
Are there any plans to actually FIX those 'known compatibility issues'?
I'm not aware of any plans. Fences and Deskscapes are listed as being compatible with Windows XP because individually they are. Unfortunately, I believe that XP simply lacks the API functions required to make this happen.
Fences always auto-arrange icons by design. There is currently no way to position an icon absolutely.
Thanks for the additional details. I will inform the developer.
Impulse is REQUIRED to install ObjectDock. It's not what I thought I was buying, but then it's kept a damned good secret until you've handed over the money.
The Impulse requirement is also listed in the purchase process before you submit your order: http://screencast.com/t/X08UCwukQKk
You can change your individual icons by right-clicking on the shortcut you wish to change -> Properties -> Change Icon.
Thanks for the input and support.
1.) I'll talk to the developer about this, but I believe that elevation prompts are designed so that they can't be intercepted. The easiest way to switch to it is to Alt + Tab, though I know this doesn't help with the lack of notification. 2.) soffice.bin is the bulk of OpenOffice. When OpenOffice is running, there are actually two processes: soffice.bin and soffice.exe
There isn't a way to do this currently. I will suggest adding such an option.
Perhaps it's having trouble reading your settings. Does this still occur with the default settings? Try temporarily renaming the ObjectDockPlus folder under: C:\users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Stardock and run Objectdock 2 again.
