I am having the same problem. I have a brand new computer, in fact I have two Windows 10 machines. I purchased start10 last night and on either machine it has error message "Please Reboot to complete the Start10 uninstall before proceeding with the new installation" Start10 has never been on either computer. Rebooting does not resolve it, and one of the computers is fresh out of the box and has all windwos updates. I would like my money back

Sorry Neil, Already tried that method and it does not work. But perhaps since I am using the 64 bit version of Windows 7, there lies the problem. After much troubleshooting, I have come up myself with a fix that will totally remove all the old Deskscape 2 DLL files which is what is hijacking the normal Windows 7 or Vista Wallpaper control panel features. I am having the same issue. Fresh upgrade to Windows 7 Professional. Accidently had Deskscape 2.5 installed. This corrupted the Windows 7 Wallpaper chooser. I can no longer edit Win7 wallpaper themes. When I choose Wallpaper options in control panel I get the error. This version of Deskscapes is not compatible with Windows 7.
