Hi, I have been using Start11 for a couple of weeks now and I'm happy with the software. However there is a feature from the 'real' Windows 10 start menu which doesn't seem to be available in Start11: the ability to have rows of 3 (small-sized) tiles for pinned icons/groups in the start menu. When pinning apps or shortcuts, it seems Start11 only offers certain width options for the start menu - either start menu only (no pins), or 6 small-sized pins per row. Windows 10 feature

Thanks, seems that could indeed be the issue. One strange aspect of the problem though is that if the video is paused, the still picture is still shown, even on the second monitor. It's only with moving video playing on monitor 2 that the red background appears when using a program on the first monitor. Seems it could be an issue with something Netflix does when playing video, which it doesn't do when the video is paused.
Yes, this seems to happen for me with Start8 as well. The menu button only appears when a modern app such as Netflix is running. I think it might be related to dual monitors. If the modern app is started on the second monitor, the Start screen menu corner thing will appear when you hover over the start button on the first monitor. If the modern app is started on the first monitor, this doesn't happen. It seems to only happen for me if an app opens on the second mon
I just bought ModernMix after trying the trial for a couple of weeks, it's a great product. After seeing the release notes for the 1.05 beta I was hoping it'd allow me to watch Netflix "backgrounded" on one monitor while using Chrome/Word/etc on a second monitor. It's nearly there, in that the sound now works fine if I switch to another app. For some reason though, the video is replaced by a red screen which covers the whole of the Netflix app. This only happens if Netflix
