OK, so I fixed my own problem, seems W7 has reverted back to W98 tendancies, after a restart it now works. I am now going to crawl away from this thread with ones tail between one's legs. Dave.

I have the same problem, just installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 on my new Dell Inspiron, it had it installed on it before and worked fine. I went to the Delldock site and downloaded it, it installed with no problems however when I try and drag items to or from it, it just gives me a black circle with a black line through it. The shortcuts it installs with it work fine yet you cannot drag them to the desktop and vice versa. Just fyi, I know how to use the software as I have it installed else
