Thanks GoaFan, and I did see that post already. I was just curious if anyone knew of anything further, than what was posted by SD on 10/23.

While I appreciate the replies, I honestly thought I would hate Windows 8 as well, but I don't. I actually like it more than Windows 7. Now, back to my original question...any word on if/when Stardock will fix this activation bug?

Any word on the update to Sins? I just upgraded to Windows 8 yesterday and now I can't activate Sins Trinity via Steam or Game Stop apps. I tried extracting the zip file (posted above) into the Sins installation folder, and still no go. After I input my email address/password and the key, after I click "register", nothing happens. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
