Do you say get Rebellion because it is better than Trinity/ Entrenchment/ Diplomacy or does Rebellion include those?

I have Sins of a Solar Empire from a disc install. It requires the GameStop App. The GameStop App says it no longer supports in-app purchases. How can I get Entrenchment or Diplomacy add-ons ? Is my only choice to get those through Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity? I'd prefer not to have to rebuy the base game. Thanks
