It's possible something is wrong with the settings file/folder. In Vista/7 it's located here: C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Setting I don't have an XP machine at home, but I'm pretty sure it's somewhere in Local Settings\Ironclad Games or something like that (I'll look it up when I get to work tomorrow morning, but in the meantime, anyone know where it is, exactly?). The settings file is diplomacy.user.setting, so try d

Try closing Impulse and running the following file: http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/fix_registrations.reg Make sure to follow the link in Internet Explorer, as other web browsers will not handle the file type correctly. Once you follow the link, save the file and double click it to apply it. Then relaunch Impulse. You will need to re-login with your username/e-mail (either will

The game is on your account, so that's not the problem. Make sure you're logging into Impulse with the same logon info that you're logging in here with. It's possible your video card might be having trouble. It looks similar to issues I have with the RAM on my card a while back. Try reinstalling the game, and making sure your drivers are up to date, and if that doesn't work, I'd look into getting the card checked out.

How about you try working with us BEFORE you start threatening and insulting us? Please send an email to support@stardock.com so we can try to figure out what's going on. If you have your serial number, or any record of the sale, it should be a simple thing to get your account straightened out, and even if you don't, we can still help. We want you to play our games as much as you do.

There should be a 'debug.err' file in your "(My) Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor" folder. You can open it up in notepad, and feel free to paste the contents here so we can see what's happening.

cinful: The game should be under the 'My Games' tab. If it is not, try closing Impulse and running the following file: http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/fix_registrations.reg Make sure to follow the link in Internet Explorer, as other web browsers will not handle the file type correctly. You're all correct! When Trinity was first a 'thing', it was a bundle of vanilla, plus both expansions. You would get a registraton for each. Once the disc version came around, it changed to being one registration. With Trinity, you get the exact same content, you're still able to play, for instance, Entrenchment without Diplomacy, and any multiplayer action will be compatible with the non-Trinity versions of the game. When there's an update for one, there will

I have my beta, but I've only played a couple games. It's inevitable that once I start playing more, my roommate will want me to go up against him. He used to make the Koreans cry back in the day, and he just as good today. Can a Zerg rush kill you in real life?

Impulse uses MD5 error checking to make sure what you download doesn't get corrupted along the way. The way MD5 works (and this is an over simplication, I'll grant you, but it works for our purposes), is similar to taking a sentence, assigning number values to each letter (a=1, b=2, etc), and adding up the corresponding numbers to get a sum. That's your "MD5" (though the real MD5 creates a much more unique signature than that). Then tell someone that sentence, and have

You're welcome to try it, but don't say I didn't warn you... [e digicons]O:)[/e

#1: Forums are not official support. We come here to see what is happening in the community, and try to do as much as possible, but it's still not the be all end all. #2: There are actually Sins specific forums that you may have better luck with in the future, as there is a very large player base for this game, and they're actually pretty quick to help new users: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/ #3: Stardock clos
