At this point, I'd send an email to support@stardock.com to open up a ticket. They may be able to help you out a little better than here.

It's not the overeating I'm recovering from, I took a 3.5 hour long off-road bike ride on Saturday, and I'm still sore. Totally worth it, though.

This is pure speculation, but it may have something to do with the screen resolution changing when you launch the game. A few questions: What is your desktop screen resolution? Do you typically play your games in this resolution? Where is the fence you keep your shortcuts in located on the screen? If you move the fence to the upper left corner, does it still happen?

I didn't see it on the list (even searched for it), but I've been using Microsoft Security Essentials, and I have zero complaints. It's been put through a few tests and come out pretty high elsewhere, and it's free.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the community can come with for this game. There are a lot of people with the skills to do some amazing things around here. Exciting times!

*** Begin official support message *** The MyColors software itself is compatible with Windows 7, but none of the themes are (yet) compatible, which means they are NOT supported. When we do update any of the themes, or release new, supported themes, their product pages will be updated to reflect this, and any updates will be made available for free through Impulse. *** End official support message *** *** Begin completely unofficial, off-the-record

Reply to Help! in Demigod

There was also a minor issue that required running Demigod as Administrator, logging into multiplayer, and from that point it should work. You should only need to run it that way the first time. More info here: https://forums.stardock.com/369993
I like competition obviously, but being walked on by people who know every little detail of the game...not so much.
You should hear my roommate talk about build orders and strategies for Starcraft and Warcraft III. I am a firm supporter of the clean wipe. Upgrades are historically bumpy rides, though I do hear the Win 7 experience is a lot better than usual. Though that may not be saying much...

There are a lot of games I don't play on the Internet, even though they're "multi-player" games. One reason, is that I'm not very good at a lot of them. I'd rather not consistantly get my ass handed to me because I don't have the time to practice and study strategy. Also, I like being able to pause a game if I need to. Phone calls, bathroom breaks, food runs, etc, are all much easier if you can just pause (or even save) and come back later.

It's not about getting someone to kick the servers, it's about getting the right person to kick them. Could anyone elbow the jukebox and get it to start playing? No. It took the Fonz. [e digicons]:digichet:[/e]
