Can I import or copy over a folder to get the layout I had used?
It finally works agin. Thanks Shirley. Yes, I do use VistaGlazz, but the problem with Aero was that it not only unpatched the DLLs, but switched to a Windows Classic theme that disables Aero.

The affected cursors are the I-beam in the XML editor text fields and all cursors over an object in the main window with the select tool selected. Could you work with the Inkscape people to implement a fix? I verified that CursorFX is involved by turning it off.
I question that Vista will let you uninstall any version of .NET that it comes with. .NET 2.0 would certainly be on that list.

Uh, My Documents on Vista is normally a locked out folder. You can't access it. It was replaced by %USERPROFILE%\ Documents. I make $USERPROFILE%\My Documents a hard link, which means that Windows sees it as the real location.
I am still waiting on a new installer that works.

This problem is still there when I start Object Dock. When you ignore it, it doesn't go away.
Please see the image at right. I am running Vista 64-bit SP1. I presumably already have .NET 3.5. I tried to install 2.0 just in case, but ran into problems. First the link in the dialog is for 32-bit OSes. Second, the 64-bit .NET 2.0 SP1 version out there doesn't install on Vista

Actually, Impulse might not be needed. All you need is forum software with the option to send e-mails upon thread activity. Mods and Admins might check a option to send an e-mail on any forum activity. These system don't require you to publicize your e-mail address.

Drive letters are corrected. The dialog I get is shown at right.
All I did was resize and move the partition down. The drive letter is the same (although Windows got confused there and that might not have helped, that is fixed). ObjectDock seems to be checking some sort of physical location rather than drive letter. The image folder in question is the one inside My Documents. For me, that has always been a seperate partition rather than on my boot partition. I run Windows Vista 64-bit SP2. Can someone help? If I

One other detail: For programs that are availble as both freeware and paidware (like CursorFX), please make the free version full featured for 30-days or so. Without that, I have no way to decide if it is worthwhile paying extra for what I don't even get to try out now. You make the sale with demonstrations, not handicapped software.
I am looking for some for ObjectDock. I have a non-animated Ubuntu logo, but nothing for Mandriva. Given I also need an ICO file, a non-animated version of the Mandriva logo would help. I can convert from PNG to ICO with GIMP. I don't trust going the other way.
Intellipoint does appear to be a workaround, but not without problems. It doesn't reverse the buttons at the driver level. As a result, until my desktop is mostly loaded, I have a right-handed mouse in my left hand. It can be troublesome knowing which button to use in the meantime. Same problem happens during shutdown. If there is a dialog that pops up like a program won't respond, I might get the wrong button. I did figure out how to use the WinCustomize
Check for updates to themes, not just programs. This might require themes (including things like icon sets for Object Dock) to include info that allows the update software to find the theme on WinCustomize. APNG/MNG support -- These PNG variants offer built-in animation. This would allow Windows, at least with something that helps it thumbnail the file, to preview the animation. It also would allow animated previews on WinCustomize (see next item). <li

Ditto here. I have a MS mouse, but haven't liked IntelliPoint in a while as it does the button switch at a level where the software gets closed before anything else, leaving me with a right handed mouse in my left hand. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e]
So is someone coming up with a fix? I used RocketDock for a while with XP. My main problems with it were that it had fewer widgets (but organized the download site better than WinCustomize) and was VERY sensitive to drags. Other than that, I consider them to be very similar.
