anybody? *feels forgotten about*

what's the best way to turn fences off? (not uninstall, just disable for a while) when i tried 'turn fences on/off > (en/dis)able fences', it said what kind of instabilities would this create? is there any preferred way of disabling it instead? one other quick question while i'm at it: what's the name of the fences process? i see 'fences.exe' when i open the settings, but

i've been having lag quite badly with fences. any other recommendations? i don't use eset.
