I've been dealing with random crashes and spontaneous reboots for a couple months. It mostly crashed during COD (graphics intensive) but crashed rarely for Demigod (CPU intensive) and L4D2. I was originally hoping it was a driver issue since i uninstalled the asus AI drivers due to crashing issues and running win7 RC. It turned out it wasnt after a windows ultimate install. I thought it could be a ram issue next so i ran memtest and prime95 without errors.

I think Niz said it best, they don't read the game names. Ie. 'Experienced Players Only' and you get guys playing their second game ever joining. Then to be the nice guy you have to almost follow the 12 step process: 1. Verify that they played in epoch II. 2. Tell them they need to play in new player matches. 3. Tell them why they cant play in this match because they always reply with 'i played single player' 4. Ask
Umm I would say no, they are undead and can move as opposed to being a non-animated corpse :) I know, I know, you've been checking out the spitter in L4D2. j

Second, don't ever try to tank the General and his army. You're an assassin. Boost your mana, boost your mobility, and spike the shit out of him. Don't ever try to take an HP stacked general head on 1v1. Get him 2v1 and he hasn't a chance. Also buff your towers a
Esuzu does have a good point.
Try this order: Shield Pen DJ Pen SOF Shield Shield Pen hold Pen + SOF Sould Power Ward Ward Ward SOF Ward DJ DJ DJ Ward Ther reasoning: Shield beyond level 3 has minimal return on investment value. You also want to get spirits on the field as quick as poss
I've started playing minion builds, and I'm wondering what ranks I should buy for my minion idols. I've thought about getting level 4 minotaurs, level 3 seige demolishers, and level 2 priests. Would you guys agree with this?
the best stun in whole game
I think the Ice TB is the best stun. The main reason being is as oak, if i go to shield/port right when i get frozen then my cooldown on shield is wicked long, resulting in my death. the LE stun is quite good, dont get me wrong, but that ice stun cooldown is a bitch. j
"I've never seen a strong commitment to their timely release." This made me chuckle Obs. and if there was a strong commitment? Im not trying to bash GPG, but i think they have a track record of being a wee bit late :) j
Thanks for another great strat guide Kes! j
Quoting Janook, reply 5The benefit of shield 3 is that it protects you from stuns. I think shield 3 is Oak's most important skill, it allows you to play way way WAY more aggressively, and to go for those dangeruos portal caps. Oak can escape from situations no other demigod would live through. This is why I love Oak! Go for and cap portal triple tele gank on the way shield, Lock, Teleport n
Me too. I uninstalled / reinstalled and it helped, but didnt eliminate them all. j
If it is, then it needs to be corrected lol.
AV Man, some friends of mine run the SPB shell for windows mobile on their omnia 2's and love it. It might be worth looking into: http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/mobileshell/ http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/mobileshell/screenshots.html j

They just need to add an animation of king leonidas popping out of nowhere and then throwing a spear at him. But, don't hold up his release to clean up his animations ! j
Since they haven't been mentioned: Quake 3 Trine edit: Oops, Q3 was released in Dec of 1999, misread the instructions. I thought it was over the last decade, not in this decade.

I agree with you in regards to the snipes. I agree that passing up mines is a mistake. I play mostly oak and even with sacrifical minions, mines are a pain in the ass. I really hate the slowing mines lol. However, in regards to the beginning of your post... 5% attack speed isn't that much of a difference but adding cheapo gladiator gloves (or any addiitonal attack speed items) makes it 10% which is a noticeable difference. But anyways, poisoned dagger is for the sl
My experience is that Oak and Reg will lose to a good TB & LE most of the time unless the reg is really good and the TB is really bad lol. Poisoned dagger isn't a bad deal, 5% increased attack speed and 20% chance to slow, that is better than the maim skill. On average 1 of 5 auto attack shots will slow by 25% for 8 seconds. $5k - well that just sucks, having some citadel upgrades would be better. Oak & Reg versus LE and UB?&nbs
having clan support would make this a better game. While the mods are nice, i would have preferred clan wars before mod tools. j
Yes thats true, i shielded and ported to the citadel, the swap ocurred right at the teleport completion. Imagine his surprise when he showed up at my cit lol.
Yea cloak is a good one, i forgot to add that to my list. I still prefer the staying power of blood though. Rawrr good point, keeping two enemies focused on one 1 person definitely provides a map advantage. Although what typically happens is that after you port back to base they take out the tower. Whereas playing conservatively and hanging out by the tower, maybe dancing a little bit and killing creep waves, will keep the tower from going down. U
Bad, I play Oak most of the time, he's my favorite demi by far. One thing i saw in your build is that you just list it up to level 20 and don't provide specific upgrade paths. To be able to look at how you build your oak we'll need to know what skills you get and when you get them. RawrrrrrrRrRrRRRrrrs strategy is a good one, but as oak you will most likely be on the health flag in a 3v3... unless your teammates are (sedna or qot) AND (rook or UB). Always
