Hahah well I'm pretty confident that Gogamer will not rip me off. I think EBgames list it as 03/07 to ship. It's 03/06 on Gogamer now.

I can tell you that I bought Trinity (Preorder for March 2nd release) and will be playing on Diplomacy. So if you want to play with newer players who are noobs, you should go Diplomacy. Just don't stack the teams guys. It's a good way to get rid of new players.
The thing with Brad is that you know he likes to play games. I played with him in Demigod before and he was decent, although not pro. So even though it's still business, at least he will try to provide a decent game for his customers. I won't preorder this game since I do not preorder games. I am waiting for the release and reviews to order. If the game turns out the way I'm expecting it to, which is just a fun game that I can play casually, then I will buy it.
Pretty cheap on Gogamer too at $28 with free shipping.
You can preorder the Gold edition on Gogamer for $28. Free shipping too. Best price I found for retail box set.
Nomilarac, if calling you a liar is considered bashing, then call me a Nomilarac basher. Stop making stuff up about me in your mind because I don't want to be in your fantasy.
[quote who="Boxxy_Renz" reply="358" id="2368395"] Quoting InsightSoul, reply 357Nomilarac you are so full of shit. Why are you calling me a "basher"? Is it because I told you to leave in the lobby after you continually join and try to ruin my games by getting people to leave the lobby? Insight, you are a basher... I remember joining (PUGing) your game 3 times on the opposing side, twice you rehosted and the third time

When it freezes, wait 5-10 minutes and see if it works. I had this problem many times in the past. It is the matchmaking server that's slow so your game appears to "freeze" when in fact it's just waiting for the matchmaking server to reply.

You don't need to delete game.prefs The problem was server side. Not your end.
Router that works: Belkin Wireless G+ MIMO ver 5000 Comcast Modem: ARRIS TM602G/CT With uPNP on, my connection works perfectly without me having to mess around with any ports. Good luck.
I'm pretty sure that the problem lies in the server thinking that you're still logged in after your crash. As such, it is rejecting your new login as invalid. The kicker is that the login/matchmaking server is very slow and unresponsive. If you crashed, then it will take a while for it to know that you have disconnected. And by a while I mean a couple of hours. Fail server is fail.
I had this problem before but it never lasted for more than 3 minutes. Seems like the Demigod matchmaking server is very underpowered for the amount of work it has to do.
Did you try restarting your computer? I had the same problem as you and a restart did it for me.
Edit: Strangest thing but restarting my computer made the connection work again. [e digicons]:D[/e] Before the patch, my Belkin router would work fine and connected to everyone. Then 1.01 came out and I cannot connect to anyone. It hangs at the "Connecting to player, please wait" screen and doesn't connect to any other players. I have changed nothing settings wise. So I'm pretty sure the patch broke something.
This happened to me too. Before the patch, connection is fine. Now I can't join any games or create. It seems like it's waiting to connect to other people forever.
Game's great when it works. Network problems are horrible though.
Agreed with you 100%. Heck, there's even a crash to desktop bug. I'm thinking this game could have used another 3 months of beta. Or better yet, release it around Christmas time and get all the bugs worked out. It would have sold much better than releasing it early and getting slammed by reviewers and players alike for issues such as this.
The problem is that when you lose you only get 10 or 20 favor points from sticking it out. If you know your team is going to lose, it's better to quit early. You save time and you can potentially gain a lot more favor points by playing a new match. The solution is to make losing favor 50% of winning favor. So you still have an incentive to win, yet there is also an incentive to sticking it out. Also, my connection is fine but sometimes I would randomly get disconnected from ev
