Does anyone know if the ladder system matches up people with a similar ranking? If it doesn't then it really should. People of the same skill level should be paired together so you can actually get a good game and the ladder would then be an accurate way of seeing who is best. I'd like to also see the ranking of people who are in the game aswell. and the experience gain/loss for people on the post game screen. I also strongly agree with support demigods not getting enoug

Many people did not receive favor points they should have earned and some earned points they should not have. Because of this we felt that it was in the best interest of the masses to reset the favor points and put everyone back on an even playing field. Once you get your favor points b
Yes? Though this patch did fix many things.
Well they could try and do that but we would recieve updates at a much slower pace. This is just a typical post patch thread where people complain that x got fixed but y didn't. As much as we'd like it, they can't wave their magic wand to make everything better, coding takes time like anything else and GPG don't have infinite amounts of it. I'd rath

If one team is playing worse, which allows the other team to get an advantage and then they continue to play worse, a comeback is going to be extremely unlikely. Comebacks happen when one team falls behind but instead of continuing to play worse they change what they're doing, step up their game and then proceed to outplay their opponent. Disadvantaged teams need to think what got them in the bad situation in the first place and then what they can do to gain an advantage

If you have a full army, Bite is usually enough to slow your opponent down enough for them to finish off unless the opposing DG is smart enough to turn tail before you even reach them. I try to get my minions to engage the DG first then bat swarm in and bite or teleport ambush and bite. Mist is used to

Unless you interrupt something with obvious animation, its impossible to tell whether you actually prevented anything (maybe they didn't plan on casting anyways). I've had some success messing with cooldowns by counting, but that is only useful against certain DGs, and even then they often just run away. The best use I've had for it is versus other Sedna
no it isnt, this release was awful bugwise and conectivity wise, especially when they are game breaking bugs that were complained about during beta
Stardock have already said that they dropped the ball on the connectivity issues, but you shouldn't complain at them for making mistakes (humans have a habit of making them) but rate them on what they did to fix the issues. They didn't have to pull 100 hour weeks and all-nighters

The game is in version 1.0. Bugs are to be expected in any game that has just been released and and you seem to think the developers are doing nothing or that they were aware of bugs but released it anyway. Of course it was beta tested but do you think those testers played the game in every single way, using all the different combinations of items, demigods, maps, situations etc? Of course not, so there are going to be things they didn't expect because they can't predict how the

They all have health AND armor bonuses. Pretty much every good armor has health and armor, so there's no need to choose. The only items that really allow you to stack armor are scalemail (only useful early game) and armor of vengeance (not that great for the price).
Those are *the* good armours? Yeah th
4. Amulet of Teleportation - this is in most ways just a money-saving device, it doesn't provide any benefit that you couldn't get (with a lower cooldown in fact) from regular teleport scrolls.
I have to disagree with this. Not only do you save money, which is great but you free up a consumable slot and that is huge. Also it, in combination with other movement speed items, allows you to be extremely mobile, yes it has a higher cooldown th

This is definitely needed. There needs to be a way of knowing the standard of who is in your game because an imbalanced game isn't much fun for anyone. It would be a shame if new players get put off the game because they're unlucky and in their first few games they end up getting crushed at the hands of experienced people or raged at by "pro" teammates, and it is just boring for the better guys to continually roll people because they just aren't as experienced. </p

This strategy has obvious weaknesses. Once the idols summons die they can't resummon. So aoe them down! Each time you kill one, they have effectively lost gold. There is a cooldown between idol summoning so they have to spend alot of time at the crystal, use this to get a level advantage. The player is investing all their gold in idols, that means they will have very low hp and armour, you need to exploit this. Yes they're very powerful in the early l

I just have some questions regarding items... do you start off with the level 1 monk idols right away? If so, does that weaken you early on against DGs that bought combat gear? You mentioned Boots of Speed... I find that I don't ever have room for them since I'm full with Vlemish+Plenor+Scalemail/Nimoth+Banded/UBBoots+Gauntl
Priest minions? They are seriously uber. Sedna with inner grace 2 can run around with a pair of high priests(rank 3 ones) than heal multiple demigods for 30% of their health bars (this is a typo in the code - supposed to be 20%, still awesome though). Cheapo monks have their 10% base, sedna buffs this to 15%. Bishops start at 15% and go to 22%. Wave priests count as monks. All the different ranks of heals stack so for every general yo

I play Sedna as my main demigod and from my experience the most powerful weapon the torchbearer has against sedna is deep freeze in combination with focus fire from your team. Sedna's power comes from her abilities and passive health regen from healing wind, inner grace and idol priests. This makes her very hard to wear down as a TB since a fireball or rain of ice will be healed in a few seconds by her regen. I hardly ever find myself having to back off vs TBs 1vs1

Everyone knows that in any competitive game that once a team gets an advantage they have won and the other team should just give up. So rather than adding a concede option, GPG should add a minigame window that pops up when a player has died, a tower is lost or that team wasn't first to the xp flag" so that the losing team can play tetris, solitaire, minesweeper etc. while the winning team is left to win as quickly as possible while the losers idle. Or just add a mechanic that
