heh - yeah - I'm probably not going to do that and, realistically, will just keep trying it out here and there and make note of how things play out. I'm thinking more of it as an experiment and am wondering how far I can progress the concept. There are just too many variables.
There would be less variables in Ranked. You'd have people your own skill level trying their hardest. And n
I would play several games with it like 10ish? find your GPM over those 10 games. Then run another 10 games with a normalish set up and do your GPM. If it is significantly higher and your win rate didn't suffer I think you might have something there.
That sounds a little too scientific to pull off in Teambuilder Cow. You never know when Pacov's Challenger nemesis will show up in bot lane and skew th

I'm not loving my choice of Frozen Heart that game. You guys think Glory or Crucible would have been a better choice? We weren't really initiating but Glory might have helped keep Ali off Pacov. Crucible wouldn't have helped him as much but might have been good to help someone on the rest of the team who got Mummy ulted. Think I need to get a little better about focusing on peeling during the teamfights rather than just trying to hook a carry to impress C

Tried Strife a while back. It's got some neat anti-toxicity mechanics to it and is rather fun. Too many things where it's similar enough but different from LoL where it's hard to adapt. I have Attack Move Click bound to my left mouse button in game for instance. Unless I could ever figure out how to do the same for Strife, it would remain unplayable for me. Watched Cow hit some crazy hooks last night in a Ranked. His team nearly

I was looking at best case scenario being Top gives up having much impact in the game in return for the rest of the team profiting. And you are looking at it as Top will have plenty of impact when joining in the stompfest later so who cares about being zoned a little early on probably? Was watching a Chinese match I think? Tank Sin Top with Cinder Skirmisher's. Going smite might help alleviate that early pain if you need to farm Krugs/Gromp when they freeze you o
I am always down to try things! and aatrox support was actually pretty decent but unintended with the teemo. Good thing he was a support teemo so I had to lane vs him anyway! Just be all yo fellas, lets do some CLG lane swaps and rotations this game before we start the game and I think we can make this happen.
The question remains: Who will be playing Top? In all this discussion, n
I don't think the best strategy is to count on your lanes to really kill it and be awesome
I think the best strategy in SoloQ is to count on yourself to kill it and be awesome. Doesn't always happen but your own performance is the only thing you can really control. And if you do well in a game it causes people to listen to you. Perception is a funny thing. Two players could be telling

Re: 2v1's Yeah, it's exactly like Karl and Cow said but that doesn't mean there isn't some sort of alternate way of taking advantage of the strat. Problem I see, even if you are onto something, is that you're probably going to have a fairly gimped Top (do you call him a Solo Bot at this point?) and Jungle afterwards. Hopefully you realize that if you ever want to try this strat out, you're going to probably have to volunteer for one of the gimped ro

Re: Pacov's Mid LoL Crisis You don't play optimally on purpose (as do we all) occasionally but it bothers you quite a bit when other people do silly things or play really loose. With your reputation to experiment and try different things I think that leads to people playing with you to tend to get in sort of a mode where they're not taking things as seriously. Even if you're trying your hardest in a particular game. I think it's as simple as
oOoOoOOoOoOOo a penta! Congratz! First one in ranked?
Thanks! Yes and no. I used to queue up with my IRL buddies when they were Bronze V's so I've gotten a couple of Pentas on my smurf account but they don't really count. Had one on my main with Irelia, but that was when they used to do hard resets and I think I got it against Silver V's so I don't count that either. Plus i
Finally back about 50% win rate in solo queue..
Awesome man. Glad that it sounds like you've got your Ranked stable of champions sorted out. I love Corki too, but I think I'm gonna put him more as my back up ADC now that I've discovered Kalista. I didn't want anything to do with her at first because she seemed a little too APM reliant for someone with my skill level and because she i

I also found that while they are in that state, they are difficult to get to tank for you.
Did a couple runs through with Elise and was unable to duplicate this. It might be skin related if you were using Blood Moon. I'm a fan of Flower Power Elise so I wasn't going to get that one, but especially not if it's bugged.

I can't just say it was bad jungle awareness because our other lanes were just awful, but I can say there were many opportunities to snowball top and free me up to get more done by going after an overextended sion without enough mana to ult over 5 minute windows. Actually an honest question Pacov cause your League vocabulary confuses me sometimes. For instance you always say 'skill cap' to describe an individuals skill level where most people would use that term to describe how much mechanical skill a champion requires to use to their full potential. Such as "Riven is a high skill

I'm thinking playing Twisted Treeline is the way to get my buddies back in the game. The toxicity in Gold is getting almost unbearable so it's kind of hard to give my IRL pals the 'rah rah it gets better when you get out of Bronze/Silver speech' cause right now it would feel like a filthy lie. TT would be just two or three of us so it would be easier to carry the one possible random if they didn't do well and less chance to get a troll. It also would fo
