I have begun to realize the fundamental flaw with forums is that we all respond faster and in greater number than it is realistic to expect from the developers of the game.
That's an organizational and communications issue, not a fundamental problem. A standard workflow is: Bug/feature goes into system, hours are assigned to it, it's attached to a milestone/release number or marked "duplicate" or "wo

One big difference between the two was when WOM was in the works it seems like the focus was on creating an awesome engine. The excitement coming out from the company was on the amazing features of the engine and how easy it was to mod. So in effect when WOM was released we got this amazing engine, but it wasn't a very polished game. With FE they have the engine and now the focus seems to be on a really solid game. Good tech trees, gameplay balance, and so on. This
There's a spell that makes you immune to counter attacks. Cast that, then go to town.
Your sovereign has to be the one that completes this quest. Other champions can do the steps up to the assembly, but your sovereign has to be the one to forge them all together.
I've confirmed this now. My sovereign had 85 experience while sitting in a city, one of his champions with an army started/won a fight, then he had 91 or so exp afterwards. You can check this yourself. All your people have exp bars you can monitor. So you can sit in the seat of your empire and send out champions to do your bidding.
Buy the game. The casters still work very well, it's mostly a matter of the shards not working in tactical combat which is a known bug. A Stardock guy has already posted they're looking at fixes.
I agree. The ability should be a normal AE spell. Not the entire map.
I've noticed several times that my sovereign has leveled up through combat of his champions. Not sure why. Also you can gain books that give experience in the wild. These can be traded.

Or you could make it so people could buy a starter-pack for half the price, with half the game, and if they want to have more of it, they can buy the last half of the game.
Sadly I don't think that'd work. If you limit the game down like that you'll just s

I didn't understand why the dealership was so upset, I was going to buy it if I liked it!
The problem with taking the moral ground like this is that it doesn't work. I mean, look at MP3 downloads. The entire MP3 format is popular because people were pirating music on Napster. People do it today via torre
We would rather you wait for the demo if you want to try it. Many of those who pirate are not trying the game, they are stealing it. And yes, some of those folks would have never bought the game at all. And we are not "DRM-Free". We are don't get in the way of legit customers. There is a difference.
I think the key with reducing piracy is via online account creation and tying that to a
