Fingers are crossed.

How long do you think it will be before Demigod moves beyond the beta phase that it is in now and becomes what the full game should be (should have been)? For example, the obvious bug fixes (alt tab crash, can't cast b4 moving, etc), connection issues fixed, UI enhancements that are obvious yet missing, etc. My guess is 1 month optimistically, or never pessimistically. I figure if it's not done within a month they'll probably lose steam and the game will bec
add tidus1492 to your friends list I'm certain I can give you a match.
I was actually thinking about something like this earlier. The option to swap between Windowed for Menu and Fullscreen for in-game modes would negate this issue as you could do whatever you'd like - however I'd be happy with Tetris. I downloaded a similar addon for World of Warcraft to play while I was flying from one location in the game world to another. Loved it.
Yea exactly. I usually would alt tab and ch

In my experience, Close to half of my time playing DG takes place in the connection screen and/or lobby, sometimes more when trying to play with a group of friends. Games are supposed to be about fun, and right now the connection screen is fairly lacking. You can participate in irc chat, but that's not really good enough imo. I propose adding a simple minigame that can be brought up with shift+tab, something like tetris or bejeweled (or something tota
I played plenty of Supcom 2v2's and 4v4's with friends and had pretty close to no difficulty, while playing 3v3 with my friends in DG requires great patience and 4v4 borders on impossible. We all know what we're doing, one of us is a cisco router tech guy, I am a computer hardware enthusiast and generally know what I'm doing, and my brother and other friend with the game certainly knows how to forward a port or two. I definitely don't think its apples to apples comparing DG's curr
Do you have more pictures of her? I think if you post more pictures with as little clothing as possible it might jog my memory as to her name.

I suggest releasing the demo in 4-6 months, when the full game should of been released. Should be nicely polished and in working order by then.
Formatted my second pc, forwarded 6073 + 6101-6200 to main pc and 6201-6300 to second pc. No software firewalls, spi firewall off on router, etc etc. Still can rarely get into games over impulse together. Works reasonably well for me to play with random players. Very rarely, but occasionally both computers connect to games together and others can join too, so I know its not totally broken. I think if I bought a second router I could have 2 public ips since I'm us
If I can have a complete blast playing SP, so can anyone else. To play devil's advocate, you may enjoy single player but for a lot of people, it's very underwhelming. The main draw of the game is the multiplayer and to say something like "just be happy with the single player" is like selling a toaster that's pretty but always burns the bread.
Very strange analogy. My take on it : the sing
I never alt-tab out of the game but sometimes when I get matched up with folks I auto-drop just as the game starts and it automatically gives me a loss on my record. Infact at least 4 of my losses are caused from dropping, and not doing anything to cause it either.
You make it sound as though stat tracking isn't broken.
I'm guessing this doesn't work with the most current version?
Ea's support is terrible, and in particular their website is the worst designed piece of garbage I've had the displeasure of fumbling through for far too long.
I consider myself an excellent demigod player, I have 15-20 screenies of endgame stats with me 3-7 levels higher than everyone else in the game with 200+ favor points etc. I play full fire tb and I believe that is the best way to go. There are only two times I switch to ice: 1) when capping flags or early game in idle periods in order to grab the mana buff real quickly 2) when I am oom or other situations when I want to be able to run and shoot normal attack simult

We don't care if you re invent the whole multiplayer nat proxy whatever in 2 weeks. We just want the game to work in multiplayer! I think we have the right to complain as customers, it's 3 weeks since launch. I guess we are so used to having multiplayer work in other r
I actually sorta agree with Ex's rant, except for the part telling them to stay up until its done. It is difficult getting into games and much moreso when doing it with a small group of friends, and like he said, we expected more progress sooner than what we've got. 3 weeks later and my friends and I can't play together any more consistently/quickly now than we could then, and gameranger should be renamed pirate's lagoon since there are rarely any non pirated version games hosted
Quoting Frogboy, reply 5Tomorrow will be the first week since release. As you know, the Gamers Bill of Rights clearly states that a user has the right to return a game that they cannot get to work on their computer regardless of the reasons. So if you can't get Demigod to work acceptably for you, you can return it to us even if you bought it at the store (we'll eat the difference). Just contact sales@stardoc
Since Launch Demigod has gone from multiplayer being unplayable, to multiplayer being limited, and now for the past hour - to singleplayer and multiplayer being unplayable. Unless you are a pirate in which case you've been playing 4v4's and the like without issues since release. At least we've got 50% off coupons that do our friends a favor... with no clear date/plan for implementation. Meh, I still feel the need to vent in regard to my 3v3/4v4/5v5 with friends post.
Raise the coupon to 60% off or start paying me for doing QA imo.

You... are a genius.
My brother indicated wanting to do this but I said no based on Stardock's work ethic and it being a bad thing to do. The last two nights I've spent several (3-4) hours trying to organize a 3v3 game between us and a friend, and we've managed to get 2 games running.
