ubersmurf, I very much disagree with your notion that overclocking kills components. Using a reasonable voltage and having adequate cooling, you can overclock quite nicely without having any risk of immediately killing your hardware. You may decrease the life expectancy of the processor, motherboard, or ram, but typically this means the processor will last 5-10 years instead of 15-20, which is negligible. Some people do kill their har

If i got a new mobo i would go to town and make a fancier computer. So you guys think that i could just drop one of those processors mentioned above in without much problem? I will have to use HP update to see if it will update my bios, that is my main concern cause i cant find any bios for download. [/quot
Unless you've added a videocard to that system your running onboard video which is more of a bottleneck than that processor. If this is the case, I'd recommend this: ATI Radeon 4770 512mb video card, and Gigabyte ep45 UD3R motherboard Xigmatek s1283 heatsink/fan combo, or OCZ Vendetta 2 Heatsink/fan combo, whichever is cheaper This motherboard will allow you to overclock that processor to 3ghz and beyond (3.2ghz is average wi
Bring on the fixes and new Demigods ^.^ UI improvements are something you guys should consider as well. I'm no programmer, but they seem like something that wouldn't be too time consuming to do compared to new demigods and the like.
Played it for 8 hours straight yesterday, pretty addictive. Similar to Sims 1 but definitely a bit better (never played the second game). Got to rank 9/10 in the crime jobline. You can choose various things to do while working which give bonuses, ie: "look for extra work" lets you make more money by doing a sidejob while your at work, or "conspire with accomplices" boosts your relationships with coworkers, which goes toward your promotion meter. I went in expecting to
Guys dont worry, I'm sure that Favor points will be fixed in time for the game's release on April 14. I mean, its a major part of the game and I don't think they'd ship it without this working 100%. Oh wait, wtf?? the game was released over a month ago? And favor is still broken? AWWW SNAP DOG!
Improving Demigod's cpu ai should not be a priority at this point whatsoever. This is a multiplayer game and your idea about conceding shows that putting an ai in multiplayer isn't a good thing... Improving that ai is just a waste of time when there are other things that could be added/changed/fixed that are more urgent. First, there are the bugs. Favor still doesn't accumulate game to game. The I can't attack/cast until I move bug still exists. Stacking
Rewarding quitting with favor points is a step back. Fix favor points and INCREASE favor points for the losing team while keeping it at 0 favor points for leavers. This will help reduce rage quitters, not giving them favor points for leaving. The part about removing heroes who leave is good though, and they should drop their items in town and split their gold. If it turns out that this is overpowered (stacking of one hero) then nerf it a bit, by
more favor for the losing team plus fixed favor would be nice.
It now saves items game to game, but it doesn't accumulate favor points game to game so you are stuck with what you have................ Sigh.

I think Ickytotem is one of the victims of the insults here, not the one dealing it out. [/quote] If you were on his team you'd be thinking differently :D
If Stardocks past work is any indication I'd expect to see a 25% off coupon in a few weeks from now and a 45% off a month or two after that. 50% coupon Will be TBA after the 45% coupon is released.

Back dooring is a risky yet effective tactic... that can be easily countered. I'm not worried about it. However, Erebus being able to warp to the enemy base on Crucible? Now that's definitely an imbalance. When it only occurs on one level and no other Demigod can do that... that's definitely som
Just played a 3v3 where everyone rushed middle flag (cataract), 2 people on one team died while my teammates and I ran back to heal, and one of them ragequitted right then and there. Like 25 seconds into the game. It was a record.

I've played many 4v4's in Supcom, 3v3 is not a max by any means.

Ie: 3v3 useast Experts only... or 4v4 EU Noobs only... or 2v2 OZ Just for fun!! Why schedule a game if you can just make one with a description of what your looking for.. at any time?
You can't honestly tell me that you don't appreciate a good nub stomping now and again.
My advice: you can't change your ping, so work with what you've got. As soon as you get in the lobby, make a hillarious joke, and comment that you realize your ping is high but you make up for it with a very fast pc, etc. Make some conversation, make it so they don't want to kick you. You aren't the prettiest girl in school so you gotta work for it, strut your stuff.
At a minimum you should be able to see your teammate's items.
My favor seems to be working properly at this point. It's accumulating properly and the one item I have saved continues to be purchased in each game.
This fix is a no brainer.
Bad Idea. /thread
