Just sending a modkit out doesn't mean that the people will automatically embrace it and pump out promods to be used in the competitive scene. Real modders with the tenacity to make a mod are very rare, and it usually takes a lot more than one tenacious modder to complete a mod. The population is already very small, and I doubt that there are enough modders out here with the right knowledge and experience to revitalize Demigod. A mode for more competitive play would be nice however

I disagree with you, ZehDon. The favor points add an incentive to play the game similar to that found in CoD4. You have to play more and play better to get that favor item you want, and it really adds to the satisfaction of achieving it.
