Those are fair enough questions, Democracy. You'll just have to look over the grammar nazis who occasionally frequent these forums. I don't think that Demigod sold particularly well, especially given the connectivity issues at release, mixed reviews, and slow pace (and amount) of additional content released. I, too, am disappointed with the number of games posted at any given time, but hope that the new demigods will bring more people i

Where does it say only AI can use the new Demigods? I think anybody would know that that is absolutely stupid. AI was never and never will be an accurate depiction of how real players play in this game. I wish GPG and Stardock would realize that to the extent the actual players do.
I think Rage is just not a multi player oriented game though, is it? Doom 3 sure wasn't. Had like, 8 person deathmatch is all.
I think it might even be 4 actually. I know the XBox version could only serve 4 players. The thing with Doom however, was that the game was more oriented for professional gamers and included shader hit detection instead of hitboxes. Hit detection based off of shaders used up a lot more resources than your average hitboxes and professional gamers d
I honestly don't think we will see more AO and M games due to DDL. The same watchdog groups that prowl around Wal-Mart and other chains keeping AO games off the shelves will no doubt come to Steam soon, if not already. Steam already has an age verification system in place. In my opinion, I'm disgusted by the nearly-porno games and games with sex appeal in mind not because of the content, but because of what the developers and publishers had in mind when they made the game. When the
You guys want to hear some insane statistics? 1. Right now there are 722 people with the demo version who are logged in but only 86 people who are actually in a game with the demo version. This continues the weird "people log in but lurk for hours" thing we see with the full version. No one knows why but they are definitely logged in with the game running and just lurking. 2. Less than 30% of the people who have registered Dem
KG, I think you can pick up Demigod on Impulse for $14,99 this weekend. I think it's worth it even if you only play singleplayer.
$15 is a great deal, but $40 just may not be worth it.
Quoting vindKtiv, reply 6I would honestly not recommend Demigod to anyone I actually cared about. Those are mostly balance issues that is rather subjective. The bugs and glitches have so far been ironed out so I wouldn't call the game "broken."
I never once used the WCIII zoom on purpose. I have yet to find it useful. Not to say it isn't, but for me, there's no point to it.
Yeah, WarCraft 3 zoom was more of a pan. Anyways, I don't use zoom in a strategy game anyways. I just find a workable height for the camera and go from their. I'm too engrossed with the game to notice any graphical details worthy of zooming. The one thing that I found annoying on Demigod was that zooming around actually moved your camera. When you
Erebus hand down just cause priests
Priests pretty much completely counters Snipe and early-mid game auto attack. With some good micro with the minions, Erebus can easily crush an careless Regulus.
Sorry, I was having a Black Friday flashback. *shudder*
I wish GameStop had a black Friday sale. I'm thinking about snagging me some DA:O but I'm not too happy about that $65 price tag for the game and all that launch DLC. I would certainly hope so many people wanted to buy Demigod that they would shove though. We need more players.
I still haven't been able to use it for a game of Demigod yet. I wish more people would use it.
The plan is that popular mods would be included with th egame for users to chooes from. Not integrated into official canon. But popula rmods, online will effectively become canon.I guess that opens a whole other can of worms for me. Personally I don't feel that the balance by committee approach would yield better results than the way things currently are. Even though really easy changes like tweaking priest exp, rebalancing HoL
If more people played, then I'll be happy as can be.
Jar Jar Binks.
I read another thread and was thinking, why don't we just be more creative and add more buffs and debuffs to the spells? We could also take a DotA approach and give the "casters" a little AA buff. For example, a Rain of Ice makes others move and attack slower. TB's Ice Nova may create ice in the area around him, causing all enemies to move and attack slower. TB's Fire ball may cause extra DoT and decrease armor. Maybe QoT's Spikes spell interrupts and stuns the enemy DG for one or two seconds

I am also very curious. Very little info has been given so far besides Brad's Item Pack. Will a mod the depth of a total conversion be possible with the mod creator?
Most communities have their unoffically distributed but incredibly popullar mods; Counter-Strike was one, DotA for Warcraft was another such mod - Blizzard certainly didn't add a giant CLICK HERE FOR DOTA or CLICK HERE FOR MODS buttons to the in-game menu of Warcraft 3, so expecting to see one in Demigod is simply unrealistic. As Frogboy has already made mention of,
Yeah, I originally said some very mean things. I'm sorry. Just: lern2spellz+grammerz, and learn to use the search function.
Why the hell people choose AF regulus when there is a SNIPE reg on the other team is beyond me. I've seen people with 300+ games do this. You're ability to kite means jack squat if the other team can snipe you from long range.
Their ability to snipe means jack squat after around 20 minutes. With Angelic Fury and the right build, you will be doing more damage with one auto-attack than with Snipe after a point in the game.
First - Reg Last - Rook
I can't wait to see the changes.
Simple question really. Does anyone know when they are going to make the Artificial Intelligence in Demigod more intelligent?
I'm not too into the AI and a big fan of getting them out of multiplayer. I would rather 3v2 on the 2 side than go 3v2+ai. The AI is a great teamplayer for the other side and you couldn't feed as much as the AI if you tried. I don't know when they will get smarter, but I
