Simply hiding it doesn't seem quite like a removal... Thank you though, I now have my cluttered desktop back. With Fences, it would crash when I deleted an icon not in a fence. Then DrWatson would spend a while trying to repair it, and load it back up with the icon still not grouped in a fence. I had a hard time trying to get past this little annoyance. As a workaround, I put it in a fence before I delete it, or send it to a folder reserved for icons to be deleted.
First, I'm sorry if this post is in the wrong place. I didn't see a subgroup for Fences. I recently installed Fences on my XP and Vista machines, but ran into errors with them. It's excellent software, but it's still too buggy for my patience. I went to the program files folder where Fences installed itself, and have not found an uninstall file. How do I uninstall it, or prevent it from loading when my maching starts? There is no MSConfig entry for it, so it's not easy for me to figur
