I assume he had it burned to disc as a backup, but I don't know.. No I didn't get his o

I believe that your friend agreed to the license by exchanging money for it. If you believe that the software has value to you, buy it. Just. Like. Your. Friend. Did. Then, install Impulse to register and download the applications that make up the suite. Naturally. I fully plan to buy it, if I can't get support w
LOL ok... So if I didn't tell you that I'd received it basically as a gift, I'd get help. Ok.
*sigh* if I had a program on a CD-ROM or DVD or whatever, and no longer had any use for it, I can GIVE it to someone else, as long as I don't retain a copy for myself. The same applies here. By law they can't tell you you can't give something away as long as you're not retaining a copy. But that whole post was a waste of time, as my original question isn't being answered.
Actually, since he no longer has the system he purchased the software for, and as he *owned* the software, he *is* allowed, by law, to give that software to me, as long as he doesn't run it on any other system, and since he has a mac, he can't. His online content/account is not transferrable, but the actual software is, by law. And no... I'm trying to install ObjectDesktop.
Hey everyone.. I have a problem with installing ObjectDesktop: A friend who switched to Mac gave me his stardock software (yay!) I believe what I have is Object Desktop 2008; I tried installing it, but it says I have to have a minimum resolution of 1024x768. Problem being, I have a fairly small monitor (widescreen) with a maximum resolution of 1280x720 (which I run). Because of this, I can't even install; is there any way around this? <
