I agree with the icon idea. Kind of like on Blizzard's Battle.net service. If I recall correctly (it's been awhile), if you were in a channel with someone who was running the same game you'd see the standard game icon (in Starcraft you'd see stars in front of his name depending on the number of victories, in Warcraft you'd see various icons depending on the number of victories, and in Diablo you'd see his personal character with his equipment). But if someone was ru

Oh I didn't know that they were going to work on the Diplomacy part of the game in the next expansion. It is seriously terrible right now. It's like chimpspanner said, they'll be requesting stuff from you ("Give me 1000 Credits") when you have a fleet 3 times the size of theirs. I'm ready to just de

What's planned for the second expansion? I'm hoping they will add some improvements to the diplomacy and some victory options. I mean right now the diplomacy in this game is pretty terrible (unless I'm missing something). Some of the missions they give are simply ridiculous (like the last game I played with a friend online, they always wanted me to attack him). How am I supposed to ally with any computers when they demand that I betray my current allies. And ho

This is via Impulse, as usual btw.[/quote] Did you patch the original game to v1.15 first? I hear that not patching it first might screw the expansion installation.

Well then you must agree that it isn't "most" games that do this if you can't even name me one. I'm sure it's happened to a few games out there, but it certainly is not common to most games and I don't see how you are considering this to be acceptable. <span style

So how can I revert back to v1.14? No one told me that this pretty insignificant patch would screw up all my saved files from v1.14. I have a saved file I'd like to finish since I already wasted about 8 hours on it. So how do I revert back to v1.14? I do not want to hear that I can't... if you're going to make a patch that screws up every saved file there better be a warning or a way to revert...

Are you guys serious? What other games have you played that did this? Besides making replay files incompatible I've never ever had this issue of screwing up my save files so I couldn't play them again. This is a ridiculous issue and I can't believe this still happens. A game of Sins takes hours to complete, that's a lot of time to waste. I have a 10 player FFA, or sorry, I should say I HAD a 10 player FFA going on and there goes many hours of my life. <p
