it does the same thing with newly installed programs. i think they should allow the option to make any one fence a default for new icon placement. this would solve your issue and mine, as i test a lot of software configurations against different hardware when i build computers at my shop. i have been telling my customers about fences, and they have all really loved it. but a lot of my customers are stupid and install everything they see on the internet and they don't delete the downloaded fil
