Demo Crash to GC website in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Wanted to try before buy. Installed Demo. Seems to start fine, I see the opening video. A DEMO news screen pops up talking about the full edition. I have two buttons on this screen - Go to the GC website button seems to work fine. BUT, when I click the other button, "Continue" which implies it brings me to the game, I instead crash to desktop and the GC website also opens up - just to the GC home page. I tried searching this forum for "demo", but it didn'
