did that... now it just turns the background black, but it made the file considerably smaller: 19.3mb any other tips? Does it have anything to do with the fact that there is sound in the file? I'll try and take that out now too... 8C

and I'm not sure what you mean by "encode to" I plugged my Samsung Digimax D53 into my Dell Latitude D630 and copied the file into my videos and it just is a .avi, I didn't do anything to it until I tried to make it a .dream with the dream maker program I'm just throwing out all the specifics I can think of cause I have NO idea what to say to help you help me [e digicons]:pout:[/e]

the original is a .avi sorry, I'm a bit green with computers, I lookat at the properties of the video and it says " "Video Clip" (.AVI) "

So I have Windows Ultimate 32bit and I thought the Dream Maker would be really cool. I am trying to take a video from my camera and make it into a background, like think a Harry Potter Picture where the person goes in and out of the frame, ANYWAYS, I have no problem making the file, but when I try to set any of the videos I make in this way nothing happens. I click and click and click and it does nothing, then I click a premade dream and it works! Why won't the ones I made work and is there a
