I am looking for the same thing I believe. I was using Windows Sidebar. It has a default calendar gadget that shows the current month. Simple and quick to see without launching some other app. Think "clock face" but in this case "Calendar Face". Seems simple enough - I bet a good programmer could write this in an hour or so. However, I am not one. :-0 It should be kept simple - I don't need appointment's here. I don't need alarms, reminders, etc... I have Outlook
