that last thing you mentioned is probably my problem. I will have to remember from now on to strip and save my designs when ending each game

I've tried going to my previous game and stripping the ship bare of it's weaponry, defenses, and other stuff saved and saved, but in a new game my design still does not show up. How do I solve this? I'm running Dread Lords by the way

yes, I read the instructions, and installed all they said to. I made sure I foloowed the read-me instructions on all of that as well

by the way, I did make sure this download was compatible with Dreadlords .... it isn't a compatibility thing

I followed the intructions and installed all the other mods needed to make this download work. However, when I proceed with actually uploading the ship models in the manner that it tells me, I don't see a folder for ship templates, only a folder that says "temp." Not sure if that is the right folder or what. When I try to play the game, the ship models show in the shipyard list, however, the pictures are blank and no 3D picture is shown.
