Probs adding downloaded ship models

I followed the intructions and installed all the other mods needed to make this download work. However, when I proceed with actually uploading the ship models in the manner that it tells me, I don't see a folder for ship templates, only a folder that says "temp." Not sure if that is the right folder or what. When I try to play the game, the ship models show in the shipyard list, however, the pictures are blank and no 3D picture is shown. Not sure if I keep playing the game that technology will unlock these ships. Anyways, here are the instructions for the ships. As I said, I already took care of the other needed downloads:

To use, copy the ships and shiptemplates files into C:\Documents and Settings\nik\My Documents\My Games\GC2DarkAvatar (or wherever yours is).

What I did was copy the ship files into the ships folder, and copied the shiptemplate files into the temp folder. Was this what they wanted me to do???

by the way, I did make sure this download was compatible with Dreadlords .... it isn't a compatibility thing

Try putting them here

C:\Program Files\Kalypso\GalCiv2\Mods\Default\Data\ShipTemplates

I don't know the GalCiv 2 part cos I have GalCiv2EU and also Im not 100% sure about the mods folder.

If the mods folder isn't there then whoever made the mod gave the wrong compaitibility info as far as I know. But don't let this get your hopes down cos someone else might know the answer!

Do you have the required mods installed? You'd need to merge them manually, though I don't think anything in pants' mod conflicts with mine so that should be just a matter of putting them in the same mods folder.

yes, I read the instructions, and installed all they said to. I made sure I foloowed the read-me instructions on all of that as well
