Ok, I'm confused...this article was posted on February 19th. It does say "tomorrow, February 19 we plan to release Beta 3 of Demigod". Since Beta 3 does not appear to have been released on the 19th, is it actually set to release today the 20th? I'm assuming that is the case since yesterday today would have been tomorrow.
it was just posted very late on the 18th (well, 2 in the morning). So we will maybe see

if you are interested in artificial intelligence, you should have learn that it doesn't exist (and we will probably have to wait a llllloooooonnnnnngggg time to see that happening). So an ai in a game really lacks creativity and so cant be a really dangerous adversory for someone that knows demigod very well (and i think it applies for every rts). So if you want more to add some challenge, you have to gives advantages to the computer. It can seem unfair, but since what he does is real

If that really upsets you, just wait a little bit, impulse loves doing low prices weekends.

well, i am sorry for you, losing a drive is always boring (btw, you can use some softwares to retrieve some of the data, but you should do that only if you really need them, since it is long and not so effective, but still, it is possible) but you can't really say it is a demigod/impulse bug since as goodgimp said, nearly everyone implements the installation this way.
It isn't quite clear but it seems that there are no plans for automated matchmaking based on a player's skill. Is this correct?
i dunno if it will be in beta 3, but the final game will include an advanced match-making system (if you search a bit on the site you should find a dev post explaining their match making system)
blablabla
hum. just make the effort to read the post before making such an answer: -one if you are suffering from "resurection sickness" then no, it is not cheaper than buying a teleport scroll, moreover dying gives gold to the ennemies so it is not at all cheaper. -the problem is not that i die very often (in fact i think that i play pretty well, especially considering that i cant play with other players, cant wa

It is a simple idea: i think that waiting 30 seconds when you die without being able to do anything else than checking the scores and your demigod stats is just totally boring, especially for newbies that die very often. I know that you can buy a citadel upgrade that accelerates the respawn but that doesn't address this problem. A simple way to solve that would be for example to respawn the demigod in 10 seconds, but in a really weak state for the remaining 20 seconds. <p

she has to be able to fight without minions: if you it is a use or die ability it removes a lot of options in her ability tree. Still, i also think that a general has to be a little weaker than an assassin, but that is why there is a beta^^, balancing the game is a bit part of the beta.

yes, you are missing something, probably a huge bug, minotaurs are just the base creeps, there are also priests, archers, lizard-catapults thingy, giants and angels. Maybe you have messed up the match configuration ? (or it really is a bug) Anyway a new build is coming today, it will maybe solve your problem

a building where you buy informations about your ennemies would do the trick... and if it's acces is controled by a flag, it can even be more interesting. But still, seeing what ennemies wear would be really really fun (but would need a lot of work from the graphic designers, opposed to the building that just need some light coding.

i also have to agree, in fact i was even thinking that they were not implemented since i was not seeing them in the main menu. In my opinion it should would be more enjoyable to have at least, after many hours, access to the achievements items. By the way, can you sell one of these items to regain your money?

just a few precisions^^: the lightnings bolts seems to come from an item bought by the enemy ai; and the odd voice of the oak is just here to test the sound system; there will be an other voice in the release. I agree with what you said and i want to add that adding differents models for dark and lights creep would greatly improve the gameplay, since being able to identify immediatly your foes and allies is very important.

yeah, portals rules!, seriously, portals that you can conquer and lose seems a lot more interesting to me (even if you have to reconquer immediatly a lost portal if you do not to die)

@lore weaver: even if the interface indeed needs some improvements, it already includes ways to only give orders to some of your minions, but it wouldn't hurt to be a bit better @klaleara: generals that doesn't gain xp from kills but from map occupation, that would be fun! Not sure it is doable, i mean not sure it is possible to ballance that correctly. Indeed demigod needs at least a general with MANY minions. I would be great to have a general, that has very low hp, but a lo

really interresting, but i fear that i would need to rewrite many parts of demigod code; the line of sight is only manage via the distance, the obstacles do not (for what i know) modify it. moreover, the units shoots whatever they see and it at range, that would become very problematic with trees and a realistic line of sight because units would probably just shoot on the trees (the supcom engine, unlike w3' one know what balistic means, and oddly enough it is a problem here). You could alway

well, a third neutral party would create kingmakers which in my opinion (but i can of course be wrong) would be frustrating and unfair. why would you want to add some players that can decide of the winners? For the two differents teams, it is definitely doable, but i am not sure of what it would add to the game. I mean, if you kill one citadel, theirs allies are dead meat, so there is not really an interest in that option. But you could think of having two citadels for one tea
Last stand is a cool idea, but I think there need to be 2 changes: 1) Oak does no or very low damage to buildings (I managed to do reduce citadel to about 30% hp while being in last stand (with a few seconds alive before) in the late game. Now Imagine a team with 2 or 3 oaks, they will just destroy your citadel without being able to do anything against it. 2) he shouldn't be able to capture flags in this mode.
<p
I'd like to see traditional base building and tech trees given to Generals. Let's actually make them Generals. My vision for the game is of powerful "assassin" demigods roaming the map, taking flags and trying to hunt down the Generals, while the Generals hide somewhere (don't let them build next to the Citadel) and slowly build up a base, gradually increasing in power and army size until they overtake the Assassins. indeed, it would be even funnier if generals had a really different role; right now, they are really fun to play, but are assassins with some pets, being able to control a wave(by standing near the portal for exemple) would be really great; if you could pay half your life and mana and set a flag where the wave coming from that portal would go would be really really fun and add a great strategic value to generals.
