Isn't there a squelch feature in demigod? I'm sure games would go better if you didn't have hear ___holes in the first place.

Patch is RELEASED.
Good post. Minions need adjustable ai settings. At the very least, change the ai code for the priests to passive behaviour (as the op said).
I'd like to see a possible merging of both ideas. I still love the idea of favor items the way they are, but I do feel many of them need to be rebalanced or removed. I'd like this idea when the community gets to a point where many have excessive amounts of favour they're not spending, they can spend it on cosmetic unlocks instead of seemingly useless favor items.
I love the citidel upgrade system in Demigod. Some demigods are more item dependant than others. This goes the same in Demigod, and rings a little more true with early game heros. Why stack more potentially not so useful items on a hero when you could buff your creeps/add more creeps to a creepwave? The citidel upgrade system also help's break away item builds as an absolute essential for a solid game.
I'd pay nothing. There should have been like 12 DGs to begin with and they promised at least two for free. By the time they get to DGs we must pay for, Starcraft II will be out and DemiGod left with like 100 players online, so who cares?
What does Starcraft 2 have to do with Demigod? The gameplay is completely different. That kind of comment would have been more relavent on a DoW 2 forum :P I'
Quoting Frogboy, reply 10 I find this idea terrible personally. It generally takes me much longer than 3 minutes before I realize my team is full of noobs and I don't want to play with them. You do know that narcisism and online gaming is not a good combo? I don't want my time wasted by someone who decides I'm a "noob" and quits 10 minutes into the game. While I have no problem with new players on my team
Got mine, gave it to a friend and he bought it.
I just had this happen to me as well, except I didnt get any error window. One moment I was controlling erebus and his minions, the next moment I'm staring at the window's desktop. Its as if I alt-tabbed, yet demigod was no longer sitting in the taskbar nor shown as a running process. I was using the steam overlay however. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it. (I haven't had any crashes at all like this while running the steam overlay, till now).
Alright thanks for the help. I'll check the journals next time. Stardock really should integrate patch info into impulse. Some sort of implementation like steam's "update news" context info feature would be great.
I've looked through this forum as well as impulse, yet I can't find any trace of the changelog for the most recent patch, if not any patches. Am I blind or is there no official forum sticky/impluse feature to view changelogs?
Demigod runs beautifully on my shiny new ATI 4850. Very smooth at 1280x1024 with all settings max, including 4XAA and 8XAF. Framerate seems to be quite up there, though I am unsure how to check the precise rate in Demigod. Honestly I'm impressed with the performance I'm getting, considering I'm still running an old AMD64 Athlon 3200+.
I think I've found the solution: http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=30981&vpn=XAE%2F48500%2BT352&manufacture=Palit%20Multimedia%20Inc.&promoid=1043 I'll let you all know
I have an X800 XL and am also suffering terrible performance issues (1-2 fps in game). I documented my issues in this thread: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/323109 The OP in that thread was also suffering bad performance issues, but he/she was running an X700 series card.
I set Demigod to the lowest possible resolution (1024x768) With all other settings set to off/low. Performance is still aweful at 1-2 fps. From what I see reading other posts, the video cards that I and the OP are running are just not up to snuff for the beta. It seems like most people here are running Nvidia 8800/8600-level cards. I've never played SupCom or Sins on my system, so I can't compare performance. Though technically both of those games are supposed to run fine on my rig. I suppose
I checked my video driver settings and geometric instancing was already turrned on...
I'm getting terrible performance as well, like 1-2 fps. I'm running an AMD Athlon 3200+ CPU, 2 Gigs of RAM, and an ATI X800 XL video card. I have a friend witha similar system, except he is running an Nvidia GeForce 7600 series video card. He is encounter no performance issues. I updated my video card drivers last night, as well as set the video card driver settings to performance modes. I'm still suffering terrible performance issues. I haven't tried geometric instancing yet,
