I got so frustrated with it I just found a windows backup where it wasn't installed (had to do a clean windows install in December) and restored from that point. I own fences 3 on steam as well so I just installed from there and have even run a uninstall/reinstall on it with none of the issues of the standalone version. Thanks for the suggestion anyways.
Was this issue ever resolved? I am having the same issue right now. I get the same problems when trying to purge fences from my system.
So I have run through the purge process three times now and every time I have as soon as the popup shows telling me to restart, another popup shows up asking me for my key or to start a trial of fences 3.
