Sorry to disappoint, but Ruler of Nations SUCKS. A huge waste of money. Stupid, unrealistic, the 'personalities' and voices are terrible and really annoying. I think the advisors must be intended to be mentally challenged. Even tried some crazy strategies too like being ridiculously aggressive war monger, or uber-libertarian, or corrupt tyrant, in a vain attempt to try and find SOMETHING fun and interesting to do in the game... but it's just retarded and repetitious no

Well that's nice but AFAIK I never saw anything from anyone with a Stardock tag, had no PMs, and see nothing mentioned in the profile. It's been a pretty long time so I just figured there was a chance that it wasn't a block, and maybe just a bug, since I never heard anything. (These forums are a little buggy for me and behave rather weird.) I'm ready for a vacation from GC and it's forums anyway, so whatever.

That's right LightVader. I'm not taking anything here personally.
I don't care about your defense of stupid agent strategies. Blah blah blah, agents suck. I'm bitter towards anyone defending crap features that don't deserve to be defended.Blah blah blah. Agents are stupid. Bring back the old sliders. End of discussion. You call that constructive criticism? I'm astonished it took them this long to ban you, and even more so to see they allowed you to have a second account.
<b
Naw, the Drengin would be quite the opposite. They're ruthless and bloodthirsty, but they're anything but stupid. I mean, hell, they apparently were patient enough to wait tens of thousands of years for a stargate to fly its way down to the Torian homeworld at sub-light speeds in order to launch their invasion. The Krynn are more of the "Jihad! Jihad NOW!" folk.
Apparently I missed out on some of the finer details of GC history by skipping the campaign mode. ^_^ Wisecrack
Well, no one but me seems to think this way but - More Diplomatic options -
I'm not sure why you don't think anyone wants that, I see that request all the time and I've been saying it since I got here. I'd also like diplomatic negotiations between more than 2 parties at once, for starters. Not 100% sure how it'd work out but it'd sure be fun thinking about and designing. Is it alot of work? Sure, but that's the expectations we should hold when we're paying as much as it

Yeah but probably everyone here has noticed the AI using slow unprotected transports and wiped them out with ease. It's probably not a strategy the AI will ever be able to utilize. They shouldn't even leave orbit, or be built, unless they at least have some escorts. I think it's been happening since the game first came out.... I'll stop here, obviously it's pretty disappointing.

That was like, twice, simultaneously. Yep lighten up a little. All the whining about my whining is getting tiresome quick too. lol Believe it or not I actually feel bad about having to say that the expansion is contending for one of my least favorite game expansions of all time. I like Stardock overall. But since I won't be getting much use out of ToA, I think I have the right to at least voice what I don't like after buying it. That other account was definitely blocked or some
Ansury. We get it man. You REALLY feel disapointed, and REALLY don't like ToA. Ever heard the expression beating a dead horse? Let it go man, find something happy in your life and smile for God's sake. Tell you what, if Brad posts here that he won't give you a refund then perhaps we can take up a collection for your cause. I'll throw 10 dollars in the pot just to get you to stop. And I'm poor
Nah I'll stop before that happens. Besides if people would stop irrationa
Then, lemme be blunt & direct, ansury...Hehe, the blunt and direct response I was contemplating wouldn't have made it past the word filter The constant whining by one individual because they don't like one feature (that has been in the game for almost a year and a half), and can't adjust their play style to cope with it, has rapidly become more than a little tedious. So much more eloquently put, Zyxpsilon!
Reeeeeeeally, I did adjust my playstyle (it's just lame building

"Zyxpsilon": Yes I am having fun blowing off steam, and I do actually feel that the advertised features technically weren't fully delivered with the expansion. But the sales pitch? Wow! That was pretty good--made it really seem like this expansion was different from the usual ones game companies put out. Not really though. I just pointed out some observations about the expansion's weaknesses, one of which was a positive one (stability), so I don't know why you're going all hyper-forum-nanny out

That changes things somewhat. I have a certain level of intolerance for software companies (almost all of them) releasing things with a trivial amount of testing, or releasing changes with no testing at all. Oh, and 1280x960 is lower than I originally thought caused this... BUT - for a game, yeah that is kinda high except for the fact that this is turn based. That res is about about the highest I can tolerate after getting used to a lower one, with the first version of this game. I don'

People don't seem to understand. I don't WANT to dump half my income into spies, and waste my time countering 10 spies a turn. It's boring. It's a waste of time. It's stupid. Really it's as simple as that. But whatever - I'll probably just end up going back to the original version where, quite honestly, I won't be missing much. Unless they fix this system, which I doubt will happen. Now: having spies as UNITS? Small cloaking vessels to deliver spies to enemy planets? Possibility for spi
