Thanks LightStar. That helped! After uninstalling all Stardock programs, I used CCleaner (freeware) to verify the registry and I deleted each Stardock entry manually. Then I installed Impulse, WindowBlinds and SkinStudio. After testing a "blank" new skin, it appeared as it should. I hope this is not going to change after I finish installing the other Stardock tools. Regards, lreto68

Hello I am having a big problem using SkinStudio 6: After clicking on "apply" a new skin which basically should look like windows xp standard, the colors are different than in the preview. There is red, yellow, purple...basically not really what I expected. All override options are disabled. Also, SkinStudio and WindowBlinds close automatically after activating a skin. Any suggestions for my problem? Regards, Reto<
