Quoting Exterm123, reply 10Would it be better if Aux Gov't were to move all tax revenue creation to the SB until it is destroyed? Well, its not a bad idea, but to have tax revenue, you need population... Vasari already have this with the Colony Pods, so it's not gonna work. Maybe the answer to the Auxiliary Government should be different for all races; TEC: bombardment damage reduced by 50%. Thi
Impulse is really not some massive burden as some try to make it out to be. For the overwhelming majority of people it "just works", and for the rest, just contact support@stardock.com and they'll gladly get you going. As others have pointed out, piracy would require third-party programs too, so that's a non-argument, and IE should always be kept up to date on any windows machine even if you don't use it, for security reasons (IE7 was pushe
Well the current culture overthrow does not leave the infastructure there, which would mostly be left if you just took over a planet rather than wiping it out. Also what happens to the pop that "overthrows" the enemy empire? It would make sense for it to remain yes? Mabey just change the culture overthrow mechanics to actually flip the planet rather than just throw them out? Mabey have it flip or destroy all structures in the system? it would be more interest
You can never change the attitude of a noob.Except for one thing , and I implore Ironclad to do this , because the current win/loss system is crap.Basically reward In-game time. The more hours you clock inside a game , the higher your rank . This means even if your losing , if you stay in the game you gain more rank.
Nice Idea, +1 :CONGRAT: That would help alot considering the amount of games that people DC from. alot of people have like 50 games and only like
Im glad there is not a banning feature, thats one of the most annoying things about battle.net in that sometimes you don't even know why you got banned in the first place....
Agreed, I think that IF they ever add a ban feature, it must expire with each game, NOT carry over to ANY games made by the banning player. I think that a report system could help ALOT more than an ignore or ban system though, mabey if 3 people in a room report them it bans them from that ro
As an advent player, I agree that repulsion is OP, I also would like to note that, if it blocks strike craft (I have not tested this) then there is nothing that the advent can use to hit a guard when it has repulsion active (being that the range of illums is inside the repulsion range, particularly frustrating). This IMO is a problem. While it is powerful against TEC and Vasari, they can at least hit it with their LRFs. Oh, and the z axis control was removed in 1.05
Hold on one sec, I'm going to put in wikipedia that LRM spam is a noob strategy.
rofl, nice man. It woukld make sense that anything other than missles and autocannons would count as energy.
