thanks :) anyways. i still don't even get the effects without the WB(not that i get them WITH THE WB's). doesn't matter how many times i choose the standard or basic. and how many times i have restarted. what should i do? reinstall vista?

Yeah, I already know that. as i said: The animations Don't work on neither one. Even if i use WindowBlinds with the Windows Aero. So Aero should have the glass effect and all. I don't see any transparency or animations at all. So can u just tell me what to do? I really want to get them to work!

ok, i think i posted this on a wrong page lol :P im using the REAL vista :P not the XP with vista visuals.
I have been using Windows Vista Home Basic a while now...at first...i think i had the special effects like when you close a window, it will fade out or if u open it, it will fade in, and if u minimize it and point at the minimized window, then u can see it in a very small window appearing there. right now, they're gone. it just feels like windows XP. is there a way to get these special effects back? i have tried scanning my pc...nothing. so yeah, a little help would be nice im n
