Also, when I noticed how old my video drivers were I installed the latest. The same problem occurs. I tried disconnecting one monitor after reading Neal's post but that didn't seem to have an effect either.

Hey all! I don't find anything in the forum about this so I'm starting a new thread. When launching GalCiv2 I get the following error: "Your desktop color depth is current set to 8 bit. Galactic Civilizations II runs best in 32 bit color..." When I check the color depth 32-bit is already the setting. Ideas on what I should do? System is Win7 Enterprise, 64-bit. H
