In another game there was a 3v3 where one team would quickly change all of their DGs to Regulus right before the host hit the start button. Some of us quickly cancelled the ready button when we saw this and called them out on it. They said they were not gonna do it anymore but proceeded to quickly switch their DGs back to Regulus and, again, I cancelled my ready button. Oak is a pain but from from imbalanced. Far, far from it. Even as an Unclean Beast player, I find he's not terribly hard to beat once you get Foul Grasp. Here's a small hint; playing Demigod is sort of like playing chess in real time. More often than not you win by anticipating what the other guy will do and thinking 3 or more moves ahead of him.

The thing is, a trio of many other DGs will have the same effect. A trio of Regs with Snipe will truly put the hurt on you if they all snipe you from across the map. A trio of Torchbearers can really ruin a trio of UBs day wit their AoE damage. A trio of Rooks putting up a wall of towers in a lane rather succinctly puts an end to any contest in that lane. So on and so forth...

It actually does much more damage than a maxed out Spit build, and can polish off pretty much any DG i

I'll have to say I agree. I recently had a game as UB paired with another UB against a pair of damned good Regulus players. We reached Giants first, they got them maybe 7-9 minutes later...and the game lasted another 20 minutes from there on in with each side pushing the other back to their base until finally we were able to follow a large wave of creeps in, support them, and get multiple kills on the Regs until we made it into their base. To make that even more astonishing, my p

Just played a truly awesome game with a TB and QoT as my partners versus Regulus, Oak and Erebus on Cataract. Early on it was rather close, with each side pushing the other back from flags and reclaiming them in turn, and each side scoring a kill or two in the first 5 minutes. In the mid-game, from a purely combat point of view...they were hammering us. I died twice- once due to "target fixation", and another time to a fantastic Bite-Penitence-Snipe Alpha strike t

I'll be using that 50% rebate to get a friend of mine to pick this fabulous game up. The fixes are fabulous, and the rebate idea is just icing on the cake; Stardock are truly my favorite PC game developers!!!
See, for example your stat would be useless against decent regulus who mastered MoB and Mines with long range attacks... Rook surrounded by towers.... And a smart fire TB with some ice skills..... And even with this, you really can't beat Oak with proper stat in late game as well.. The problems are your skills are very melee-oriented and does not mention creep control and ranged demigods.

Since I have no idea where to send this...I'm posting it to the forums for some savvy tech person from Stardock to take a gander at. If this should be handled differently, please do feel free to let me know! This crash occurred as I was tryong to connec to other players in a Custom game today.
WHo says they're going to have a choice? B) I've used this build in multiple games. I hit my opponents 4 times for huge damage before they can hit me twice. I'm the Demigod version of a food processor at that point. More often than not, by the time they figure out they'll lose the figh
Now I'm not saying Regulus at level 10 can't beat an UB at level 10, the issue is at the start of the game he is going to do better than me, I feel there is nothing I can do. He spits and runs, so now unless I bought pots right off the bat I'm extremely vulnerable 7 seconds later when his spit is off CD again. The UB player will always get the early game advantage against me and an UB that is higher level than you is im

If you mean that you want a build focused mainly on Melee (hitting) and doing Big Damage, then you want to put points into the following skills every time you get a chance (and ignore the people who tell you, "...but max out Venomous Spit!". Believe it or not, Unclean Beast can do just fine without them.) My melee build in the past has looked like this (and it requires some serious gold and a very good Favor item to REALLY shine, but when you can manage this...no one will want to let
I swear most Darkness forces use him. It's annoying. And I am tired of seeing the same combo over and over again. Spit, run, spit, chase + other UB moves sometimes.
Ok, I may not be able to tell you how to beat the Unclean Beast players (and since he's my preferred Demingod...no offense, but it's not in my vested interest to tell you ALL of my tricks!!) but I'll help you with why they're beating

It's hard to make judgements about DGs when so many players can't play well.
With the proper build, Unclean Beast can leave Spit at level 1 and shred other DGs. Mind you the build leans heavily on the correct items (and if you

Well, in the last Pantheon (won by the goody goody forces of light!), TB came in tied for third as the top Demigod, at least in Win percentage. And he's just a hair away from the 1st place DG, the Rook. So...I don't really think he's considered obsolete in the least. Maybe more fragile...but definitely not obsolete.

Congrats on the funky build! I applaud people who take a Demigod and try to break out of the cookie-cutter templates that everyone else adopts. You know, specifically because everyone expects UB to be vomiting on them ad nauseam (teehee) is exactly why I went out and made a pure melee build for him, with Spit only at lvl 1 for finishing off fleeing DGs. I'm still tweaking said build, but suffice to say; it doesn't use Ooze, it doesn't use Spit, and it will take down a tank Rook in sec
Compare this to say, Erebus or Oak, who.. well, can't be taken easily even with teamwork, they have a higher chance to run away than UB.
Not even remotely true. The same speed that allows UB to catch up to a fleeing Demigod is the same speed that will let him get away. Slightly before the midpoint in an average game, when I have the Heart of Life coupled with speed boots and Swift Anklets, you aren't killing me if I dec
I'd like to see the spit do quite a bit less damage, keep the range and have a snare effect. Makes it slightly easier to catch up to people and use the beast's primary weapons and makes less of a focus on the spit. As it is, spit is soooo much better than frenzy for example, that I find that not focusing on spit makes my UB feel weak. I'd be fine with the spit doing the damage it does

It is up to you to convince the Beast not to chase you.

Sometimes I wonder about these people who feel something is too OP and what their intentions really are. Especially if they're calling it on "their

I mention his (Foul) Grasp ability, which is mainly useful for its stun component. It actually doesn't do that much damage, far less than Spit does (or even base melee da
