Update: the game runs slowly online with my laptop, but it runs fine on my $500 desktop. Also, the online servers are full of people who have really fast, expensive computers and bad attitudes. They really showed me that they were white collar professionals rather than people who work for a living (I mean that literally, although it's a bigoted assumption) when I tested it on my laptop through a wireless router.
